I've been doing some basic temp testing with empty boxes in full sun so now i'm working on a graphic to show the results. It's quite a complicated subject with lots of things to consider, so with these tests and results I've tried to keep it very basic. This graphic is not a rating system of good and bad boxes. We don't put boxes in the sun without a roof! Dark colours could be an advantage in Winter for warming the hive. More info about the results can be found on the website here: www.nativebeehives.com/box-testing-temperature/ ... See MoreSee Less2 weeks ago
