I’m mocking up a copy of Dean Haley’s design. Dean has encouraged people to copy the design and give credit. It’s always good to give credit for where you got designs from.
I will however change the honey tray design from the original to something else that will be easier for me to make. Currently the back wall unscrews to access the honey area which I’m not sure if I like. It might be better if the wall was fixed in place and the honey trays could be accessed from the top. So I need to work on some kind of honey collection system insert for the back area.
The first section on the left is where the entrance is and bees should store pollen, then the middle is for the brood, and the right large section is the honey storage area.
