I’m using the usual 35mm Cypress on these Octagonal shaped boxes. Octagonal Hives involve a lot of work and can take a long time to get done so I don’t think many people would make these odd shapes.
Below – I’ve planed down and cut a heap of pieces to a suitable length. 360 degrees divided by eight pieces for each level, 11.25 degree cut …. heaps of cuts!!
