A great day out at a Glasshouse Mountains Macadamia farm yesterday with the Australian Native Bee Association.
A good turn out with a few new faces. Here’s a bunch of photos from the day. It was good to hear from the fifth generation farm owner Ben talk about the farming and harvesting processes of the nuts. Thanks to Tim Heard for organising the day. I tried to get a few arty farty shots, and there’s a few macro photos of stingless bees, a wasp sucking on a grub, and Dean Haley with plants in his ears to stop the bees
