Year 2021: I started out just mounting the data logging units on the outside of the hive box then after some heavy rain some where exposed to a bit of water and failed. The wires were always a bit messy too.

Year 2022: I started making housings to protect them from the weather. The design of the housing has evolved slowly and now also keeps it neat storing the wires.

Year 2024: The latest version is made from laser cut marine ply which might be a little more attractive with the finger joints. These also have a rain peak at the top to provide better protection. These will hold either the Inkbird TH1 or TH2 with the wires inside the housing as well.
